Last season (2006) on American Idol, Chris Daughtry was talking to Ryan Seacrest about some random fan question which had been mailed in.

Chris, aka “Daughtry”, then added something along the lines of “I know a lot of people on the Internet have been wondering, and the answer is: Boxer Briefs.”

This season, Chris Sligh was talking to Ryan, who asked a fan question about what they do in their “down time” and Chris said something about sitting around in his boxers playing the bongo drums.

There’s a clear warning here to future contestants: the first rule of American Idol is, you do not talk about Fight Club underwear. Especially if your name is Chris.

Elliot Yamin is #13 but his CD only came out about a week ago. Daughtry’s CD came out in November. Pickler’s came out in October. Bucky’s comes out in April 17th.
