Opera turns 10 today!
To celebrate, they’re giving away, for free, Opera registration codes.
See http://my.opera.com/community/party/reg.dml.
I love the form. Rather than ask a zillion questions for the marketing weasels, they have TWO things they ask:
1) What’s your email address? (so they can email you the code)
2) Would you like to be on the mailing list? (and they default to NO! Who gives away a free registration code AND gives you an OPT-IN? Most everyone else would try to sneak that one by you, try to get you on their mailing list in exchange for a free code. But Opera respects you too much to treat you that way.
What are you still doing here? Go get yourself a free code!
Already bought Opera? Get one anyway and give it to someone else!
(UPDATE: Well all good things come to an end, and so did this. Hope you got yours.)

I got myself a brank spanking new copy of Opera 8, and spent the past couple of hours reading through this page.
I have vowed to give Opera a good trial before I make the decision to switch or not.
Thanks for a handy in-depth guide to some of it’s features.

I have been using IE for years, and some time last year switched permanently to Firefox.
This year I switched again to Opera. Opera is now my default browser, and it’s the best browser out there, bar none!!!
You guys are the best!! I love the browser, for its quickness, and more importantly securiy.
I however do have one suggestion, Id really appreciate it if you can install a feature, whereby the toolbars at the top of the page, only come on when you drag your mouse to it. Until then they remain invisable. This inturn gives you a greater viewing area. Its afeature in Avant browser, and Id really like to see it incorporated in Opera.
Great job guys, and here’s wishing you another 10 hot & sizzling years!!!

Opera is an excellent software that I highly recommend to any person looking for information about the internet.

Excellent and well done! Goodbye, Firefox… well, for my regular browsing needs. While building websites, I rely heavy on the web developers tools for Firefox. Haven’t found similar plug-ins for Opera yet.

How does one disable the auto-complete of web page addresses when surfing the net? I find this feature a great annoyance, and haven’t been able to disable it. I would appreciate it if someone would email an answer to me.
Thanks
